Ben was a high school History and Geography teacher before starting his ministry apprenticeship with the Christian student group at UTS in Sydney. After this he trained at Moore Theological College in Sydney, was a chaplain at an aged care home, and after ordination worked as a children’s minister.

It was then that Ben became the Assistant Minister at Narrabri and he has now moved to be the rector of St John’s Cowra with the support of Bush Church Aid. Ben has been in Cowra since January 2023.

Ben is married to Alissa and has three kids. In his spare time Ben enjoys photography, sitting in local cafes, and going on bike rides with his family.
